Hey there, friend. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here today.

If you’ve been following my journey for a while, you know that my podcast, All Things Therapy, is my heart and soul. I started this show with a simple intention: to bring conversations about mental health, spirituality, and personal growth into the mainstream in a way that feels accessible, warm, and real.

Fast forward to today, and I’ve had the absolute privilege of conducting over 400 interviews with some of the most brilliant minds on the planet: psychologists, spiritual teachers, business moguls, artists, and healers of all kinds. These are people who have spent their lives decoding what it means to be human, and I’ve had a front-row seat to their wisdom.

But here’s the thing: after 400+ conversations, you start to notice patterns. You start to see that beneath the different titles and labels, we are all essentially asking the same questions and carrying the same burdens.

Today, I want to pull back the curtain and share the "secrets" I’ve learned from these incredible guests. These aren't just academic theories; these are the core truths that lead to real, lasting transformation.

1. The Universal Thread: We Are All "The Wounded Healer"

One of the biggest takeaways from my years of interviewing is that nobody: and I mean nobody: has it all figured out. Even the most successful, "put-together" guests I’ve interviewed have spoken candidly about their struggles with self-doubt, grief, and old wounds.

In my book, The Chiron Effect, I talk extensively about the archetype of the Wounded Healer. In astrology, Chiron represents our deepest core wounds: the ones that seem to never quite go away. But here’s the secret I’ve learned from 400 interviews: your wound isn't a mistake. It’s actually the doorway to your greatest gift.

When we stop trying to "fix" ourselves and instead start witnessing ourselves with compassion, everything changes. The guests who showed the most growth were those who embraced their vulnerabilities rather than hiding them.

2. The Intersection of Psychology and Spirituality

For a long time, the worlds of clinical psychology and spirituality were kept strictly separate. My podcast has taught me that this is a mistake. To truly heal, we need both.

We need the practical, evidence-based tools of psychotherapy (like the kind I offer at Nolatherapy) to navigate our cognitive patterns and emotional responses. But we also need the "soul-work": the spiritual perspective that reminds us we are part of something larger.

Many of my guests, from world-renowned doctors to intuitive healers, agree that lasting change happens when we align our minds with our spirits. Whether you engage in zoom therapy from the comfort of your home or spend time in deep meditation, the goal is the same: integration.

3. Healing Is Not a Destination: It’s a Frequency

I used to think that healing was like a mountain you climb, and once you reach the top, you’re "done." After hundreds of hours of conversation, I’ve realized that healing is more like tuning a radio.

Life will always throw us out of sync. We’ll get stressed, we’ll face loss, or we’ll fall back into old habits. The "secret" to healing isn't never getting triggered; it's how quickly you can return to a frequency of peace and self-forgiveness.

In my book, The Chiron Effect, I emphasize the power of empathy and self-forgiveness as the primary tools for this "re-tuning." If you’re ready to learn how to identify your specific core wounds and shift your frequency, I highly recommend picking up a copy of my book.

4. Our Relationships Are Our Greatest Teachers

It’s no surprise that many of my most-downloaded podcast episodes focus on relationships. Whether it’s couples therapy or learning how to set boundaries with family, our connections with others act as mirrors.

Through my interviews, I’ve learned that we often attract people who trigger our "Chiron wounds." While this can be incredibly painful, it’s also an opportunity. Instead of blaming the other person, we can ask, "What is this interaction teaching me about a part of myself that still needs love?"

Healing your relationships starts with healing the relationship you have with yourself. When you show up for yourself with compassion, you change the dynamic of every other relationship in your life.

5. The Power of "The Now"

If I had to summarize the advice of 400 guests into one sentence, it would be this: Everything happens in the present moment.

Regret lives in the past. Anxiety lives in the future. Healing can only happen now. Whether we were talking about stress affecting the body or how to build a multi-million dollar business, the most successful guests were those who practiced being present.

When you are present, you can catch the negative self-talk before it spirals. You can choose to take a deep breath instead of reacting in anger. You can choose empathy over judgment.

6. Vulnerability Is the Ultimate Shortcut

We often think that being "strong" means having a thick skin and never showing weakness. My 400+ interviews have taught me the exact opposite.

The moments that resonated most with my audience: and the moments where I saw the guests transform before my eyes: were the moments of raw, unfiltered honesty. There is a profound power in saying, "I'm struggling," or "I don't know the answer."

Vulnerability breaks down the walls of isolation. It lets other people in, and more importantly, it lets your own light shine through the cracks of your wounds.

How to Start Your Healing Journey Today

Listening to 400 interviews is a lot of information, and it can feel overwhelming. If you’re wondering where to start, I want to offer you a simple roadmap inspired by the core principles of my work:

  1. Identify Your Wound: Take a look at the patterns in your life. Where do you feel stuck? Where do you feel "not enough"? This is likely where your Chiron wound resides.
  2. Practice Empathy: Speak to yourself as you would a dear friend. If you wouldn't say it to someone you love, don't say it to yourself.
  3. Seek Support: You don't have to do this alone. Whether it’s through individual therapy, joining a community, or listening to the All Things Therapy podcast, reaching out is a sign of strength.
  4. Read and Reflect: Dive deeper into the mechanics of your own healing. My book, The Chiron Effect, was written to be a companion on this journey. It bridges the gap between the stars and your soul, providing a practical guide to healing through the lens of astrology and psychology.

Final Thoughts

After 400+ interviews, I am more convinced than ever that healing is possible for everyone. No matter how deep the wound or how long you've been carrying it, there is a path forward.

The "secrets" aren't really secrets at all: they are timeless truths that we often forget in the noise of daily life. You are worthy of love. You are capable of change. And your wounds are the very thing that will eventually lead you to your greatest strength.

Thank you for being part of this community. Whether you're a long-time listener or you're just finding me today, I am so honored to be a part of your journey.
