Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the "right" things for your personal growth: reading the books, going to therapy, practicing mindfulness: yet you keep bumping into the same invisible glass ceiling? Maybe it’s a recurring pattern in your relationships, a persistent feeling of not being "enough," or a career plateau that feels more like a desert.
If that sounds familiar, you aren’t alone. We all have those hidden corners of our psyche that feel resistant to change. But what if I told you there was a map that could pinpoint exactly where those blocks are and, more importantly, show you how to unlock them?
Welcome to the world of Psychoastrology®.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I’ve spent over 20 years helping people navigate the complexities of the human mind. But it wasn't until I integrated the ancient wisdom of astrology with modern psychological principles that I saw the true potential for rapid, deep-seated transformation. Psychoastrology® isn’t just about looking at the stars; it’s about looking at you through a lens of profound empathy and clarity.
What Exactly is Psychoastrology®?
At its core, Psychoastrology® is a therapeutic bridge. It’s the intersection where the grounded, evidence-based practices of Western psychology meet the symbolic, archetypal language of astrology.
In traditional therapy, we often spend a lot of time "digging" to find the root of a problem. In a Psychoastrology® session, we use your natal chart as a diagnostic tool: a blueprint of your personality and potential. This allows us to jumpstart the process. Instead of guessing why you feel stuck, we can look at specific placements in your chart to identify the themes that have been following you since birth.
It’s not about predicting the future or checking a daily horoscope. It’s about understanding your unique psychological makeup. By combining Jungian psychology with the placements of the planets, we can identify unconscious patterns and bring them into the light where they can finally be healed.
Meeting Chiron: The Key to Your Core Wounds

The heart of my work: and the focus of my book, The Chiron Effect: is a small but mighty celestial body known as Chiron. In Greek mythology, Chiron was the "Wounded Healer." In astrology, his placement in your birth chart represents your deepest core wound: the place where you feel most vulnerable, raw, and perhaps even broken.
We all have a Chiron placement, and it acts like a magnetic pull. It's that area of your life where you feel easily triggered or where you tend to hide parts of yourself for fear of rejection. Whether it’s a wound of abandonment, a wound of inadequacy, or a wound of voice, understanding your Chiron is the key to unlocking true personal growth.
When we identify your Chiron placement, we stop fighting the pain and start listening to what it has to tell us. This shift from resistance to recognition is where the magic happens.
Why This Changes Your Growth Strategy
Most personal growth strategies focus on fixing what is wrong with us. Psychoastrology® flips the script. It focuses on forgiving and integrating the parts of us we’ve rejected.
1. Radically Increased Self-Empathy
When you see your struggles mapped out in a chart, it takes the "fault" out of the equation. You realize that your patterns aren't a sign of failure; they are simply the way your energy is currently organized. This realization opens the door to radical self-empathy. You stop being your own harshest critic and start becoming your own most compassionate ally.
2. Identifying the "Why" Behind the "What"
Have you ever wondered why you attract the same type of partner or why you're afraid to ask for a promotion? Psychoastrology® provides the "why." By linking your current behaviors to the core wounds identified in your natal chart, we can create a personalized roadmap for change.

3. Shifting Patterns with Intention
Awareness is the first step, but action is the second. In my psychotherapy and counseling services, we don't just talk about the wounds; we work to shift them. We use tools like Reiki-infused affirmations and mindset work to update your internal "operating system." You begin to respond to life's challenges from a place of empowerment rather than a place of old, triggered habit.
Healing through The Chiron Effect
I wrote my book, The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness, to be a practical guide for this journey. It was a true honor to have the book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who recognized the value of combining these disciplines to foster inner peace.

In the book, I break down what Chiron means in each of the twelve zodiac signs. For example, if your Chiron is in Aries, your wound might revolve around your right to exist or your sense of "I am." If it’s in Libra, it might be about a deep-seated fear of being alone or a struggle with boundaries in relationships.
Each chapter offers specific steps, spiritual practices, and affirmations tailored to your unique placement. It’s about becoming your own healer.
Resilience and Transformation
Personal growth isn't a linear path. It's more like a spiral: we often revisit the same themes, but each time, we do so with a higher level of consciousness. Psychoastrology® gives you the tools to navigate that spiral with grace.

By acknowledging our wounds, we actually find our greatest strengths. The "Wounded Healer" isn't just a myth; it's a reality. The area where you have suffered the most is often the area where you have the most wisdom to offer the world. When you heal your own Chiron wound, you develop a unique capacity to help others heal theirs. This is how we move from surviving to thriving.
